Can I sell my leased car even though it belongs to the leasing company?

Yes, but not directly. Legally, the vehicle belongs to the leasing company. The way to do it is to settle the lease early: you pay off the outstanding balance, receive the vehicle registration document and can then sell the car freely. We handle the entire process for you.

How much does it cost to end a lease early in Switzerland?

The cost is made up of a small “penalty interest” charge and the remaining balance – but this amount is significantly lower than if you kept paying the lease. If the market value is higher than the residual value, you can pocket the difference as profit. We calculate your individual situation free of charge.
